Ambassador Wu Wei elaborated on the concept of building a global community of a shared future, and the propositions of promoting an equal and orderly multipolar world and advancing a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization. Wu said that the Chinese side stands ready to deepen the China-FSM Comprehensive Strategic Partnership  and together with the FSM to promote building a closer China-Pacific island countries community with a shared future. Wu appreciated that T.H. Urusemal and T.H. Figir have long firmly adhered to the one-China principle and made important contributions to China-FSM friendship. Wu expected that the two Senators will continue to care for and support China-FSM relations.

Urusemal and Figir appreciated the achievements of China’s diplomacy in the new era, thanked China for its significant support and assistance for the independence and development of the FSM, and said that they will firmly support the one-China policy and continue to contribute to the development of FSM-China relations.
